Food and Fun with Buses!

Being married has been good to us, and our bellies. Ryan and I both love to cook and the combo of the two of us in our tiny kitchen, though frustrating at moments, has been very fruitful. We have made some very tasty things. That said, this blog might just turn into a recipe review site. Lately we have pulled our recipes from our favorite website http://www.epicurious.com/. Below in the listing of our pics we will include the links to the recipes we used.
Otherwise, we are learning through experience how to shop effectively for the New York City transit system. Some of you might have heard about our harrowing experience of a Bed Bath and Beyond trip gone awry due to the subsequent issues related to getting everything home on public transit. But, we have learned from the error of our ways and have started shopping in a more conservative, city person fashion. We make more frequent, small trips and truck along our fashionable shopping carts that we bought at a local we-have-everything shop on Queens Blvd. Today we had one of our three-times a week trips to our local Key Foods and succesfully transported it all home via the Q46 bus. As you will see in the picture, Ryan jimmied the cart up onto his lap, which was not necessary, but our fellow bus riders got a kick out of it, and thank heavens, Ryan was being economical with space...a major priority in this land of tight squeezes.
