Manhattan Surprise

It has been inquired, "so what was the surprise date Ryan had planned?" Well, things got busy and I was required to work instead that night. Ryan had planned to take me to a hot pot restaurant near Central Park and to go to the Metropolitain Museum for sunset on the roof. Would have been fun, but luckily it can be rescheduled.
Meanwhile, we survived the opening of Donovan Hall. Currently I have 565 freshmen living in the building and we're doing fine so far. Today has been the first "normal" day of work and I'm not on duty tonight! I was on for the past week straight and was getting calls at all hours of the night for various issues on campus. So, in order to celebrate Ryan is taking me out for wings at Atomic Wings in Greenwich Village. We've passed by before and I'm excited to try it out.
In other news, I'm officially super cool. I got myself a BlackBerry and now act like the high profile professional that I am :) ha ha...but, I'm still getting used to it. However, it's very nice to have all my info at my fingertips, as soon as I figure out how to access it all.
Aside from that, my darling husband made me dinner a few nights ago and it was amazing. You should try it out. Only suggestion is to not reduce it so much. Ryan loves reduction and I thought it came out a little too thick sauce wise. I also think adding a bit of yellow mustard might be good. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/109436
