We have continued to cook and found another few jems. However, the new spin on these is that we're trying to stay in a budget while still have great eats. Lucky for us, we can get great Asian products for cheap at a local Chinese market.

We have also started baking. We love our Kitchen-Aid from Grandma Tomich. Not any sort of magic mystery recipes with the cookies or crepes. Snickerdoodles, molasses cookies and pumpkin bread. But, when you have good tools, it makes the food so much better. I never knew we could be bakers, but apparently we are!
Meanwhile, we will be headed to AZ for the winter break. We will be home at 11pm on the 22nd and will leave on the evening of January 5th.
