Today Ryan and I took in the fun that the city has to offer.
We started the day with a matinee on Broadway. The show was called "Come Back, Little Sheba." It's a straight play, a revival of the 1950 stage version on Brodway (and was made into a film with Burt Lancaster in '52). We both really enjoyed it. Somewhat predictable, but in a good way that helps you think about life and the psychology of the way people are. Love, youth, temptation.
After that we grabbed a cup of coffee and then met up with our friends Sarah and John Mark from church. We did dinner at Whym (www.whymnyc.com). It was great! Then we went back to their place and played a good game of Settlers. We are so excited to have found others in the city with the same passion for our favorite board game.
We still can't believe we live here, but are so excited every time it hits us.
