We also tried a new church this weekend and really enjoyed it. Very us in a lot of ways. We're going to try it a few more times to see if it's still what we're looking for and perhaps we'll get plugged into one of their many small groups.
Cool thing next week is that Lee Strobel is visiting, so that ought to be enjoyable.

Ok, so a friend of ours girl friend is moving to New York at the end of September but she doesn't know anyone and still doesn't really have a place to live or job or anything - she's freaked out but really wants to persue acting in New York. She's a cool girl - grew up in Germany (her parents were missionaries), speaks fluent German, very cute, fun, lively gal from what little I have seen of her and I know she would totally appriciate meeting a few people in NY who could interduce her to people and help her make the transition - so I thought of you guys.
