8 months and going strong

Yesterday was our 8 month anniversary! Not that we're really counting, but any excuse to go out for dinner is good by me.
We started the day by downing a pot of coffee and then heading out in search of a dog. No luck, but we've got our names in at all of the local shelters and found out the details on getting the little dog of my dreams. Most of what we saw in the shelters by 2pm was pit bulls. Obviously that's not going to work. As makes sense, most of the small dogs like we're looking for are snatched up quickly. So, we've have to be patient and saavy if we're going to get the Yorkie or Pom that I want.
But, as previously mentioned, we went out for dinner to celebrate our 8 months of bliss. We went to a place just a few blocks south of us at 9th and 56th called Kashkaval (http://www.kashkavalfoods.com/). It was recommended by some of the students here. I think Ryan and I have found a new fave in the city. Great quailty meats and cheeses, delicious tapas, quaint atmosphere...exactly what Ryan and I love. Prices weren't too bad either.
