Cakes and Cookies

Not much new to report in these neck of the woods. Normal work week. I'm still working on the mural in the office. Ryan and I are motivated to get back in the gym (because it's freakin' next door to our apartment). Meri's still napping a lot. The usual.
Friday we ran errands and even stopped in Dylan's Candy Bar (http://www.dylanscandybar.com/) a big candy store here in NYC. That was while we were on the way to meet up with Steph and Paul for Steph's big 26th birthday. We met up with them and a few other friends for dinner at the Shake Shack. Burgers...yum... Afterward, we headed to Brooklyn for cake and games. Steph works for Baskin and Robbins and got a fabulous ice cream cake. Sorry Sleeping Beauty. Then we played Apples to Apples where I totally dominated. Muah ah ah. Honestly, I'm not usually that good at it. Must have had a random lucky streak.

Saturday we ran more errands and I made a great dinner (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_179415,00.html). So healthy and delicous. Super easy, too.
Today's been very chill. Church this morning, a good hour in the gym, and now I'm baking cookies (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_18480,00.html). Hope they're tasty.
